Carving out a little time for yourself to engage in monthly rituals is a great way to enhance your self-care routine.
What’s the point of having monthly rituals?
How are you supposed to know where you are going if you don't know where you've been? When we set the GPS in the car, we put in the final destination (our goals), and we also put in the current location. This is sometimes something we forget to do in our lives: get clear on where we are now. A great way to do this is by reflecting on the month that's just past!

But I’m not really into spirituality …
There’s no need to be this deep spiritual person here. This is an opportunity for you to have a moment with yourself and connect to your internal compass.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Ground yourself in the now
Bring awareness to your breath and use all your senses to notice your surroundings and experience your life.

2. Get intentional with your space
Clear your space from anything that is cluttered and make a beautiful altar with your favourite items. Light up a candle and gather beautiful things you love like crystals or stones if you have some, but also this can be rocks, flowers or anything you love. It can even be your jewellery!

3. Embrace a moment to reflect
When the full moon this month comes around, it’s a perfect time to dig out your journal and get writing. Journaling is a wonderful way to check-in with yourself and really validate everything you’ve been through and everything you’d like to call into your life.
Make sure to be kind and compassionate with yourself just like you would be with a friend. Give yourself love and forgiveness and meet yourself exactly where you are.

4. Set your intention for the next month
Make sure to state it in a positive way and as if it had already happened. You will task your brain to find all the proof that supports this intention.
