Do you have a piece of silver jewellery that you love but it's starting to look a bit dull? Or maybe you jumped in the spa with your jewellery on and quickly realised all your pieces had turned black (yep, this has happened to me)!
Don't worry, in this blog post we'll show you how to clean your silver jewellery and make it look as good as new! All you need is some baking powder, water, white vinegar and a soft toothbrush. Let's get started!
Step 1: Potion
In a small bowl, mix together 2 table spoons baking powder, warm water (enough to create liquid paste) and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. This will create the potion you'll use to clean your silver jewellery.
Step 2: Patience
Once you've made the mixture, submerge your silver pieces and let them soak in it for 2 minutes. This will help loosen up any dirt or grime that's stuck to the surface of the jewellery.
Step 3: Perseverance
After 2 minutes have passed, take a soft toothbrush and dip it into the paste. Then, put the paste on the piece of jewellery and gently scrub. Finally, rinse the jewellery under clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
You may need to repeat this process a few times to get all the dirt or tarnish off.
Now it is important for you to remember that this recipe should ONLY be used on SILVER JEWELLERY - not gold.
